Basic fundamentals and a knowledge of why things should be played in a certain way are the backbone of Tommy's teaching style.
Although working through a plethora of repertoire has its benefits, Tommy has one main aim when it comes to his students: to make them better players and prepare them for the real musical world.
Tommy will conduct a thorough analysis of a prospective students playing, and devise a plan on how to work on the student's weaknesses and bring their playing to the next level. Repertoire will be covered, hopefully more challenging than you would've first thought possible.

It is quite common to have a band built upon four bass players, but turning said players into a team is another challenge altogether.
There is a forgotten art to building an efficient bass section which can only go so far with "four good players". A good bass team not only sounds good and works well together, but enhances the sound of the entire band.
